SYMBOLISM and GRIEF

Dear Reader,

I have a few tidbits to happily announce to you, amidst gardening season and my usual studio work time. One sweet, sweet, fine day, I will not have to report to my job M-FR and can just wander over to my studio and garden EVERY morning. In the meantime, though, still squeezing in all of the precious moments that I can muster every day. I hope that you are doing the same.

The group show, “It’s All Symbolic”, is coming to a close. You still have time to catch it at the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library (June 9 to August 26, 2025) in Eau Claire. The 3rd floor gallery is open any time that the library is open. It is a gorgeous space, with lots of light. The show has a wonderful variety of work, interpreting the show’s title.

Next up, is the group show, “Expressions of Grief”, at the MacRostie Art Center, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota (September 5 to October 31, 2025). The opening reception is Friday, September 5th from 4 to 7pm. It is a terrific opportunity to show somewhere new and have a grand adventure along the way to and from delivering the work. I will have 5 pieces of sculpture in this one.

Enjoy the summer, my dear sweet reader.
